Ethics is Every Single Day Commitment

Ethics is Every Single Day Commitment

Last Sunday, I went hiking with my friend, Brooke, and we talked about the food we like to eat and the food we don’t.

I said to her “I hate carrots. The taste is like soap, so weird!” I can hardly imagine people eating carrot as salad without any seasoning. She said to me “You did not taste the RIGHT one. Carrots can be sweet, actually.” She said because of environmental ethics, she gave up eating meats and become an ethical vegan.

I believe consumers are becoming environmentally and ethically conscious and care about their purchase by tracing back to the process of production. We care as much as you do. Ethics is always our priority of doing business. Responsible manufacturing is our focus to verify suppliers’ portfolio, compliance to standard and regulations. Therefore, working with trusted manufacturers and provide ethical products are our commitment.

Like becoming an ethical vegan, being socially and environmentally ethical may not be as easy as people think at the beginning. But if we continue to put these into our focus every single day, the taste of ethics will be sweet. In the end of the story, she told me that the best way of having carrots is to toss them in a bowl with good olive oil, salts and pepper. Roast in the oven for 20min and season to taste, and it is ready to be served.

Hope you enjoy the sweet carrots. :)
